What We’ll Do

 

In order to give every pet personalized attention, we’ll try to take a maximum of only three animals at a time, unless there are more than three from the same family. In the event we have a very young puppy or a senior citizen, we’ll provide those pets with a secure area safe from any others who might be too active for them.

 

For anxious pet parents, we can keep in contact with you by e-mail or by phone to let you know on a daily basis what your pet is doing, and how he or she is feeling. A Webcam is on all night and when they are inside so we can see them at all times, and we are always taking pictures! Like this one:

What You Need To Do

 

We recommend that all new clients come in for a meeting, with their pets, prior to their stay with us.

 

Your pets need to be currently vaccinated for:

Bordatella, distemper, parvo, and rabies, as required by law.

 

Ideally, pets should be:

• Well socialized and comfortable around other pets and humans
• Clean and well groomed
• Up to date on flea and tick control
• Potty trained
• Not a barker or a chewer (Please inform us if your pet has any destructive behaviors. Remember, we’re opening our home to them.)

 

If your pet isn’t friendly toward other pets, special arrangements could still be made, so be sure to check with us. For female pets in season, special arrangements will be made, as long as we’re made aware of their need.

 

You’ll need to bring:

• Food and Treats
• Bedding (pet bed, blankets etc.)
• Toys (one or two they particularly like)
• Kennel for transportation, or a car seat, or a car seat-belt
• Collar or harness with identification, and a leash

 

 

What It Costs

 

• One pet - $50 for each full 24 hour period; $25 for any half day period
• Additional pets from the same family - $40 per 24 hour period for each pet
• Medications are administered once daily at no extra charge; for administration more than once a day, we can determine the cost once we know your pet’s  special needs
• Transportation to and from your home by us  - $20, plus $1 per mile for each round trip
• Emergencies - $25 per hour for our time, plus transportation costs and veterinary costs

 

We’ll treat your pets with the same heartfelt loving care and attention as we would one of our own, and we look forward to welcoming them into our home!
